The use of evidence and peer-reviewed literature to plan and implement my capstone project

The entire capstone project's planning and implementation were based on in-depth analysis of evidence and peer-reviewed literature. I consulted several nursing-related sources touching on intervention development and implementation, which enabled me to develop the relevant intervention. Because most parents had developed extremely negative perceptions of the use of the vaccine, I was much aware that convincing them to change their ideologies was quite difficult to use examples and evidence to support each argument for the use of the vaccine. This prompted me to apply the principles of evidence-based practice – I researched through different scholarly books and peer-reviewed literature to get adequate evidence to convince the audience on how vaccines have been used over the past decades and the successes attributed to it in terms of improving health condition, especially the health status of children
