The present study argues that feeling and behaviors are the major factors determining the concepts and degree of cyberbullying. This argumentative essay exceptionally captures Facebook and Instagram’s fundamental contributions in the site of bullying (Piccolo & Valentina 2020). According to MacDonald’s arguments, most people have impressive views concerning Facebook and Instagram since they complain that they are primary sources of cyberbullying. However, according to my arguments, I think most people lack the evidence to prove their assumptions. If one experiences any form of bullying, it’s advisable to block the aggressor from communicating. This strategy can be used to solve cyberbullying, which frequently occurs on Facebook and Instagram social media (Gahagan et al.;2016). As we progress with technology, there is a need for the parents and teachers to understand that they have duty to council and give positive guidelines to the students since they are more affected by cyberbullying. The impression of this is that most children will have poor performance due to poor and low responses in the class.
In conclusion, it’s good to understand how Facebook and Instagram have contributed to cyberbullying, especially the younger people. According to this argumentative essay, there is enough evidence that cyberbullying on social media is mainly generated by Facebook and Instagram platforms. Additionally, the arguments call for an immediate solution before the problem becomes worst. Cyberbullying can make students lose perspectives, especially in their lives, thus dropping out of school, unpredicted violence in schools, and suicide. Therefore, according to scholars’ arguments, college and university should take part and advise students on the consequences of using social media such as Facebook and Instagram. There should be prevention strategies to address this upcoming issue due to the increase of technology taking place. According to my recommendations on this issue, there should be a collaborative workshop for universities, colleges, and other agencies to council youth people since their large percentage of their lives have been taken by social media. Counseling can help to stop cases of cyberbullying, especially in the young generation. We need to understand that social media is like a jungle that has no end either beginning and if we fail to make a decision, then there is a high probability of losing more younger people.
