As of the 2010 census, the Marinette County population was 41,749.
Its county seat is Marinette, which now covers the former independent village of Menekaunee as a community.
The county has a land area of 1,550 square miles, from which 1,399 square miles is land and 151 square miles is water.
It is Wisconsin’s third-largest county in terms of land area and fifth-largest in terms of total area.
Marinette County has a border with Lake Michigan, which is habitat to indigenous flora.

The town is kept safe by local law enforcement.
