The absence of universal healthcare coverage is a significant health problem that concerns the majority of Americans. Health insurance provision is offered by a variety of organizations, such as Medicare and Medicaid, in contrast to developing countries that have a universal healthcare insurance scheme. The expenses of providing healthcare coverage remain very high due to the absence of a national health coverage scheme. In regard to equity, effectiveness, and access to healthcare, such a scheme performs poorly. My health insurance stance is that universal insurance allows U.S. people to receive reliable and affordable care conveniently.
I want to ask for your support in achieving the following goals:
Enlargement of health insurance coverage and access: Widening health coverage ought to concentrate on improving insurance availability, raising the numbers of covered individuals, and allowing insurance opportunities to expand (WHO, 2013). The Americans would have a range to choose from. It guarantees that as many American people as possible are covered by health care. People cannot be treated unfairly as insurance is given depending on their work position, health and wealth.
Raising the coordination of care quality: in this manner, the emphasis would shift away from facilities and into public wellbeing, with further funding allocated to home-visiting services to promote health. Children, expectant mothers, the aged, and mothers from low-income households would also be significantly impacted by those provisions.
The payment structure reform: We would establish, implement, and facilitate alternative payment mechanisms to provide affordable treatment to Americans when the payment structure is reformed. The reform would enable Americans to be protected from the exponential rise in healthcare costs (Mason et al., 2016).
The support I am looking for from you would have a significant impact on both the patients and nursing career. There will be more covered individuals, and healthcare benefits will be distributed without regard for pre-existing illnesses. There would be better prevention strategies in place to check for comorbidities, reducing the number of people who seek help in the emergency room. High demand for healthcare, as well as hospital overcrowding, would raise the need for health personnel, such as nurse practitioners.
I propose that policies be enacted that would enable Americans to obtain quality and affordable health care. Additionally, a law that necessitates all residents to get at least primary health insurance benefits should be put in place.
