QUESTION 3: Explain how using a request for proposal (RFP) might have changes the
company’s decision to purchase the training program. Do you think the company would

HRP-104

have purchased the same training program from the same vendor if they had created a
detailed RFP? Explain your answer.
ANSWER 3:

Request for proposal (RFP) is a document that lists all the requirements and needs of the
project companies creates an RFP for upcoming project, as a form of proposal to potential
contractor and agencies. The request for proposal document helps to know all the vendors and
consultant according to their project need in the organization. If company fails to create detailed
RFP can result in the program that is not needed and higher cost than necessary.
According to my point of view, company should not purchased the same training program
from same vendor even after detailed RFP because in this they will get more options of the
vendors according to their needs and preferred to buy that consultant program which will fulfill
their cost and time needs.
