Workplace discrimination refers to the unfair treatment of employees in a workplace because of their differences, such as race, gender, and religion (Dhanani, 2018). Harassment is part of workplace discrimination and is defined as unwelcome behaviors by colleagues or clients designed to intimidate others. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 is the law passed to criminalize any workplace environment. The EEOC is the body that ensures these laws are enforced.
The field of healthcare is overwhelmed with a massive hurdle in handling the subject of medical diversity in care delivery.
The ineffectiveness  of healthcare systems is made difficult by the uncertainty created by differences in cultural values, faith, ethnicity, economic standing, and skin color.
