Public Service Announcement on Bullying

PSA Concept Paper on Bullying
Goal:
This PSA aims to prevent bullying in communities and schools in the United States (U.S.). The bullying phenomenon is experienced extensively by learners across developmental periods, demographic groups, and geographies. I will need to lead the change by instituting a culture of embracing diversity among students. The PSA would mitigate and prevent physical bullying, cyberbullying, as well as other forms of digital abuse by educating the students and community members on the need to celebrate and embrace their differences and thus create more sustainable communities. The action I would want to take with the students and community members is to create educational programs that would challenge the participants to demonstrate high levels of admirable behaviors and any behaviors that create a hostile learning environment. The PSA demonstrates a commitment to ensuring students learn within a safe, supportive environment without fear. In other words, the PSA constitutes an attempt to prevent bullying and ensure that parents and students are assured they would receive support via a constructive and constituent school response, primarily if it does occur.
