Part 1: Identifying Research Methodologies After reading each of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected, use the Matrix Worksheet template to analyze the methodologies applied in each of the four peer-reviewed articles. Your analysis should include the following: The full citation of each peer-reviewed article in APA format. A brief (1-paragraph) statement explaining why you chose this peer-reviewed article and/or how it relates to your clinical issue of interest, including a brief explanation of the ethics of research related to your clinical issue of interest. A brief (1-2 paragraph) description of the aims of the research of each peer-reviewed article. A brief (1-2 paragraph) description of the research methodology used. Be sure to identify if the methodology used was qualitative, quantitative, or a mixed-methods approach. Be specific. A brief (1- to 2-paragraph) description of the strengths of each of the research methodologies used, including reliability and validity of ho

Why you chose this article and/or how it relates to the clinical issue of interest (include a brief explanation of the ethics of research related to your clinical issue of interest) I have selected this article because it studies the casual relationship between physical activity and childhood obesity. My clinical issue of interest obesity and whether physical activity can be used to improve weight of people with obesity. This article has showed the relationship between the two concepts. This article was selected because it studies impact of physical activity on weight loss. Weight loss is one of the ways to improve health of people with obesity. Ethic of research in this study and related to the clinical issue of interest is informed consent. The researchers asked the participants for informed consent before including them in the study.
Brief description of the aims of the research of each peer-reviewed article To examine the associations of physical fitness and physical activity with executive function in children with overweight and obesity” (pg.1) “The primary goals of this study were to clarify 1) the effect of weight loss by lifestyle intervention on circulating total angiopoietin-like protein 8 (ANGPTL8), and 2) the role of physical activity on serum total ANGPTL8 in northern Americans with obesity but without diabetes” (pg. 1725).
Brief description of the research methodology used Be sure to identify if the methodology used was qualitativequantitative, or a mixed-methods approach. Be specific. The research method used to conduct is study is a quantitative, cross-sectional design.

The study was conducted using a prospective randomized controlled trial. This method is a quantitative method.
A brief description of the strengths of each of the research methodologies used, including reliability and validity of how the methodology was applied in each of the peer-reviewed articles you selected. The strength of cross-sectional design is that it is relatively inexpensive and quick to conduct. The design is the best way to determine associations of multiple outcomes and exposures. The method used was valid and reliable because it helped the researchers understand the association between obesity and physical activity. The strength of the methodology used is that it measured the effectiveness of ANGPTL8 in treating obesity. The method also reduced bias in the study. The method was valid because it allowed..
