It is essential to develop new patient treatment procedures, guided by the NURS FPX4030 Assessment 3 PICO(T) Questions and an Evidence-Based Approach. PICO(T) (Patient/population/Problem, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome(s), and Time frame) approach is employed to direct the process of gathering data because it helps professionals create specific information (Hooge et al., 2022). The PICO(T) plan aims to provide a strategy that could guide information gathering. Considering this, nursing staff who are simply beginning to use an evidence-based framework or collection of procedures may find a PICO(T) investigation beneficial. Investigations can be more efficient and fruitful if the searcher tries to outline the areas where evidence is required (Quatman-Yates et al., 2020).
In general, by carefully identifying the sources of facts within defined locations, the nursing assistant will maximize the possibility that relevant and significant information will be discovered during their investigation. To change the results, nursing staff might focus on specific therapies and compare them to other possibilities by using the PICO(T) approach. In my new position as a nurse with a bachelor’s degree, I will be required to look for and assess trustworthy scholarly journals that provide the most current, essential data to enhance my scientific judgment and assessment. Evidence-based information benefits all individuals, care organizations, and professionals (Prince et al., 2020)
