Practicum Project focus
The project that is being focused on is on the influence of implementing bedside reporting during change of shifts. The project intends to encourage nurses to be able to share all the patient information at the bedside. This is an important process since it allows for the determination of the condition of the patient and the healthcare issues that are experienced by the patient at the moment. The information that is shared is expected to help in the process of decision-making on the aspect of handling the objectives that are to be used in the process of determination of the influence on the patient outcome.
Forde, Coffey, and Hegarty (2020) depict that nurses are supposed to have an understanding of the patient progress as it allows for the development of the best strategies for handling the process of care for patients.
