Based on the PPD, a therapeutic relationship can be defined as an interactive relationship that a family or therapist has with the patient that entails caring, boundaries, clarity, positivity, and professionalism. Since people with PPD often have thinking that interferes with their personal ability to maintain relationships and the ability to functions socially in any environment (Paris, 2015). an interview is best in this situation where the questions are asked in order to sort the ways in which the clients might get help or have tried to help themselves in the situation. It is through their suggestions that the therapist breaks the news about the disorder. In a group session, I would prefer to use their ideas and solution to diagnosis the condition (Wheeler, 2020). While in the case of group and family sessions, the examples that have worked for such clients can be tailored to the client with PPD.
