Nursing leadership and management roles have become essential to the promotion of patent care and safety. In particular, nurse leaders are expected to be well-informed about the latest healthcare research, improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of operations, mentor team members, and delegate tasks effectively (Salmond & Echevarria, 2017). Besides, nurses can promote a safe environment within health care organizations. Communicating with various stakeholders and acting as a role model for other employees constitute other essential tasks in nursing leadership and management roles.
