NPSGs aims to improve patient safety and prevent errors in healthcare by providing healthcare organizations with specific goals to focus on (Patel et al., 2021). EHRs, on the other hand, provides healthcare providers with timely access to patient information, which can help improve the quality of care delivered. In the food industry, initiatives such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are used to ensure food safety and quality (Gordon, 2017). HACCP is a systematic approach to identifying and controlling potential hazards in food production, while GMPs are guidelines that specify what practices are necessary to ensure food is produced safely and consistently. Overall, these initiatives demonstrate the importance of continuous improvement and the role that quality plays in the success of organizations.
