Different purposes are served by state-based coalition in the country. The creation of an
environment that is conducive for all nurses is one of the main roles that this coalition plays.
This helps the nurses to provide quality care to the best of their ability (National Academies
of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine, 2016). Different goals have been identified in the IMO
report including preparing nurses for meeting the needs of patients and enhancement of
teamwork in the nursing field. Nurses are enabled to perform their roles in a different way
with the help of state-based coalitions. Campaigning is considered as one of the ways for the
implementation of the recommendations in all the U.S states. As described the objectives and
goals are on the basis of recommendations hypothecated and described in the report of IMO.
Hence, campaigns focusing on the implementation of stipulated recommendations help in the
advancement of goals.
