Despite having earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and benefiting from informal training and education from various sources, I recognize that I have yet to attain the highest level of scholarly thinking maturity. My doctoral pursuit is driven by the aspiration to harness critical thinking in a scholarly manner and apply it comprehensively in my career and life. The most challenging aspect of the course revolved around formalizing references in academic writing, particularly in deciding which sources to utilize and ensuring proper citation. On the other hand, writing, especially creative and fiction writing, is a personal strength. However, within the stringent constraints of technical and academic writing, I find it challenging to restrain the impulse for emotional and creative expression.

To facilitate this development, I have set specific goals: to enhance precision and control, promote thoughtfulness over haste, and encourage a more uninhibited creative expression.
