Changes to make to the Lecture when Delivering the Content via Distance Methods
I would adopt a different approach when delivering the lecture content via a distance method such as video conferencing. I would do this by being brief when starting the presentation, and using interactive methods so as to improve the engagement of the audience. I would also focus on keeping the presentation colorful by using more images and graphics so as to make learning interesting and appealing. I would also be creative, and ensure that the audio and visuals are clear (Bientzle et al., 2017).
How to Promote Student Interaction with Distance Methods
The learner’s interaction and engagement during learning is important because it leads to success in terms of what the learner can grasp and understand. Giving quizzes to the audience is one of the ways in which the presenter can encourage their engagement. By providing feedback to the quizzes, they would become interested in understanding the content of the presentation.
Requiring the audience to take a poll is another way of engaging them. In this case, the poll may include questions about their experiences related to the secondhand smoking. For instance, they may need to state whether a person close to them has had to suffer because of secondhand smoking (Cao et al., 2015). When the learner responds to the question, they become focused and would want to know more during the presentation.
Whether the Evaluation Measures would be Different
The evaluation of the teaching outcomes is important because it can help the person presenting the content to identify whether they were successful or whether the strategy they utilized to teach was effective enough. The evaluation measures used when presenting directly to the student would be different from those used when presenting over an online platform.
Observation cannot be a reliable means of evaluation where the content is presented using the online platform. Instead, the educator may have to use a method in which they require the audience to answer a set of questions (Bastable, 2019). Doing this can help them identify whether the students learned something out of the remotely-delivered presentation.

Despite all the benefits associated with information age, this age has come with misuse of information. The use of unverified information can do the opposite of helping people become informed (Cash, 2016). It can cause people to make decisions which may lead to dire consequences. For instance, a provider making decisions based on unverified information can put patients’ lives at risk.

The information age is impacting the health education in various ways. For example, has made it possible for people who are sick to know the kind of medications they can use to manage their health. People who visit health websites can learn how to manage their personal health. Because of the information age, people are able to cross check information with the providers’ prescription. This has led to a situation in which people are more health-aware, and they can notice when providers are making clinical mistakes. Therefore, the information age has been a positive driving force for the growing number of people informed on health matters.

Health care consumers have significantly been impacted by the information. Consumers want to know the provider that provides cost effective care. They can access this information on the internet, and make decisions on who to choose as the payer.
