The competencies demand that nurses develop the finest NP-patient connections possible. In an attempt to enhance the nature of care, I have participated in several organizational activities. I bargained, teamed, and cooperated with several practitioners. The exercise resulted in favorable decisions that enhanced the health of several clients. The texts, lectures, and conversations in class provided me with new tools for creating effective NP-patient connections (NONPF, 2022). These competencies are utilized to develop ideal practitioner-patient relationships.

Specific techniques that assist the teaching-coaching role have been discussed in the course textbook and lectures. NPs should “incorporate coaching in patient and family self-care management” (NONPF, 2022, p. 6). This skill is vital for enhancing the healthcare outcomes of patients who are either at risk or identified as primary goals of care. I have also participated in several in-service and teaching contests. These activities have taught me to take on a leadership role and communicate effectively.

The majority of the exercises I have completed have increased my degree of professionalism. I can act responsibly, embrace new nursing technology, work with other caregivers, and provide high-quality patient care (AACN, 2021). Moreover, I participated in the BON meeting and paid attention to the proposal to establish a new nursing education program. The class exercises have provided me with fresh ideas. I am now able to provide evidence-based care to a variety of patients.

I have finished a number of academic activities and programs. I am responsible for participating in and promoting the most acceptable health practices. In order to provide exceptional care, I also attended Lambda Chi Meeting, Pri-Med, and CMS seminars. At these meetings, I have negotiated about up-to-date insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid, which are parts of healthcare delivery systems. Quality improvement initiatives allowed me to participate in fixing their inadequacies and learning new abilities.

My objective has always been to strive for ongoing quality improvement monitoring. The class assignments describe how NPs should evaluate the quality of treatment offered to various patients. This aim was achieved by combining several key activities. For example, I reviewed my performance against local benchmarking data, including morbidity statistics or complication rates, which my peers later reviewed. I have attended multiple sessions to learn about the necessity of culturally competent treatment. I have worked with people from many ethnic backgrounds. I now comprehend how to handle or assist my patients’ spiritual needs. I have recognized that cultural sensitivity, cultural awareness, open-mindedness, and dynamicity are all essential characteristics of proficiency (Sharifi et al., 2019). Cultural competency is a skill that may help NPs function better. Such practitioners should utilize their skills to help their patients attain their goals.
