What is stability and how is it usually referred to?

Reliability testing focuses on the following three aspects of reliability – stability, equivalence, and
homogeneity.
What is stability and how is it usually referred to? Concerned with the consistency of
repeated measures of the same attribute with the use of the same scale or instrument,
referred to as the test-retest reliability
What is equivalence and how is it usually referred to? Comparison of 2 versions of the
same paper and pencil instrument or of 2 observers measuring the same event,
comparison of 2 observers/judges is interrater reliability, comparison of 2 paper and
pencil instruments referred to as alternate forms reliability or parallel forms reliability
What is homogeneity and how is it usually referred to? Used with pencil and paper
instruments or scales to address the correlation of each question to the other questions
within the scales, test of internal consistency
