Hello. Health technologies have advanced care delivery in the nursing profession. Healthcare organizations continue to implement technology, a trajectory that has increased the demand for nursing informatics. Nursing informatics allows practitioners to integrate technology into efficient and safe care delivery (Deckro et al., 2021). Introducing applications, Telehealth, and electronic health records systems in a healthcare environment validates the roles of nursing informatics in enhanced care delivery. Nurse informatics have the proper knowledge and experience in using diverse healthcare technologies. Also, nursing practitioners use their know-how to develop security measures against cyber-security risks that have intensified due to the heightened use of healthcare technologies (Forman et al., 2020). Nurse informatics work with other healthcare professionals to maximize the benefit of using technology. The rapport also enables healthcare workers to advance their competence levels in using technology.
