Navigating through the EHR was challenging at first because there are a lot of different areas to explore. Once I reviewed the different areas and understood what each area belonged to, the EHR was easier to navigate. I did utilize the EHR throughout some of my iHuman case attempts. I have attached a few different PDFs one being my first attempt and one being my last attempt. The first attempt I utilized the EHR and understood it after exploring it. I had forgotten about the EHR during a few of my other attempts because I was so focused on increasing my score for the HPI and physical exam. I read through the rubric and realized the EHR was part of the grading criteria, so I have attached the document with the completed EHR as well. After putting the patient data into the EHR, it was very easy for me to use and understand. I do not think I will have many problems in the future with the iHuman EHR. To improve my next patient encounter I could investigate the history notecard worksheet and spend more time filling that out. Another tool I could use to help me improve my EHR documentation is to print out my EHR documentation from this case study and compare it to scholarly articles that have EHR examples.
