I would advise the principal to make sure that every employee abides to the safety policy and procedures with no exceptions, as exposure to the bleach can cause lung problems. The Paradise Elementary School supervisor should enforce rules associated with PPE since it is her responsibility to keep the employees safe; failure to do so is a violation of OSHA (Moran, 2013). Additionally, she can consider sensitizing the employees and students through training on the significance of wearing PPE as the personnel remaining injury free is one of the facility’s goals. Regardless of the children’s reaction to the PPE, staff should wear them for their own safety and to abide by rules. Question 2 The greater risk in the construction of the Omega Tower using asbestos is on the installers and the office workers. It has the potential to cause cancer and asbestosis that lead to death of the victims. In the case of fire retardant, there are several alternatives that can be utilized instead of asbestos, which have no potent human health risk; they include aramid fiber, ceramic, and carbon. With the known risks of using asbestos in the current society, the construction team should not employ this material as it will contribute to diseases and deaths of employees (Moran, 2013). While there is an alternative to fire retardant materials, nothing can measure up or replace good health and the life of an individual. Question 3 I would advise the firm to provide the accommodations requested by employees so as to create a favorable environment and increase productivity. Essentially, it is the task of the hirer to provide safe and comfortable working conditions for the staff, as stipulated by OSHA (Moran, 2013). However, the environment at the firm poses a threat to employees considering that they may develop diseases and long-term health complications. To avoid such occurrences, the firm should make sure that workers have the necessary tools for their jobs. In terms of cost, the company should consider acquiring loans since the equipment will serve as an investment to help grow the business. References Moran, J. J. (2013).
